Accommodation in Kent
The Chatsworth Hotel

The Chatsworth Hotel is one of Hasting's landmarks, situated in a superb position on the sea front. The hotel is a short walk from the bus and train stations and has ample car parking just yards away.

It has an ideal location, just minutes away from Hastings Castle perched high above the town and nearby are the White Rock Theatre, Smugglers Adventure at St. Clement's Caves, Battle Abbey and Leeds Castle.

The King Charles Hotel

The King Charles Hotel is a privately owned, modern, eighty-five bedroomed hotel, with a cosy, comfortable restaurant and first class conference and banqueting facilities.

It is rated 3 Diamonds by the English Tourist Board. The Hotel is set in the heart of Medway and Maritime Kent and is just 2 minutes away from Historic Rochester with it's Castle, Cathedral and Dickens Museum.

Other sites of interest in Medway include the World Naval Base, Fort Amhurst and the Royal Engineers Museum.

Central London is just 30 miles away as is the Channel Tunnel and Ferry Ports. Other places of interest include Bluewater Shopping Centre, Leeds Castle and Canterbury. It is an ideal as a base for exploring both Kent and London and make an ideal stopover for coaches heading to and from Europe.

Hallwood Farm

Hallwood Farm is non-smoking and offers a perfect bed and breakfast holiday base for visitors planning to travel to and stay in the South East area of England.

Sympathetically converted in 1990 into the main farmhouse and home of the Wickham family, the C17th oast retains much of the rustic charm and character of it's former days. The B and B accommodation offers guests every comfort combined with a reminder of the hop growing history of the Weald of Kent.

Situated at the end of a long private farm lane, the historic town of Cranbrook and the famous gardens at Sissinghurst are both within a few minutes drive of Hallwood Farm.

The Holt

The Holt, Benenden is a comfortable detached house in 2.5 acres of secluded woodland and gardens offering one double and one twin bedroom both with en-suite facilities.

Set away from the small local road the house is undisturbed - the only sounds being the distant ringing of the church bells, local birds and the occasional distant puffing of steam trains running in the Tenterden vale.

The local village of Benenden and the woodland walks of Hemsted Forest are less than a 10 minute stroll. The Holt makes a great base to explore the delights of Kentish villages and towns including Sissinghurst (2.5 miles), Cranbrook (3 miles), Great Dixter (Northiam 7 miles) and Tenterden (7 miles).
